Balanced Objects

🎪 Do You Have Aerial?

We have a TON of aerial classes on the schedule - Aerial hoop (lyra), silks, hammock, and specialty classes on the schedule for apparatuses like: chains, straps, loops, hair hanging, Flying Pole / Aerial Pole, and so much more!!! Check out our whole aerial schedule by going to feather.rsvp (our booking platform) and filtering by "Circus" :)

Don't be scared!!! But also this is a totally normal and valid experience - pole is daunting! First of all, you're in incredibly good hands. Sammie ("NYMPHIE" on the schedule) is one of the sweetest and most uplifting souls you'll ever meet, and will always have options for you working into more complex shapes / shapes you've never tried before! So much of pole is learning how to overcome fear and create a mind-muscle connection, and trust between body & space, body & mind, body & body. You'll ease into new shapes slowly and with all the support - backed with years of knowledge, wisdom, and anatomy-driven, trauma-informed spotting from Sammie / NYMPHIE (and all instructors in the future), when needed. "TRICKS" classes will be very "learning new things / getting my body into this shape"-based, and "FLOW" classes are way more open-format and fluid, within which you'll be given choreography that you can either stick to exactly or deviate from on your own accord. If you've never taken a pole class before or it's been awhile, start with Pole 101 (Beginner + Fundamentals) - TRICKS. If you have or are kind of up there in your pole skills, take Pole 1&2 or Pole 2 (Intermediate + Advanced). If you're still curious about class and maybe just want to hang with / meet members of the pole community here in Bushwick, attend a Pole Jam (Note: a Pole Jam is not a class, it is a social event / hang with other pole dancers in a space with poles! Please do not try things during a Pole Jam that you've never tried before as there may not be an instructor present, but there will always be a trained spotter).

🚙 How's the Parking Situation?

Parking is actually amazing at/by The Atrium!!! Of course, it depends on when you're planning to arrive and how much time you leave for yourself to find a spot, but we've never really had issues!

📍Where are you located?

We’re in Bushwick, Brooklyn — within walking distance of the L train.

📅 What Kinds of Events Do You Have in Your Space?

We have all types of events! Full Moon Circles, Pole Classes, Pole Specialty Workshops, Embodied Consent Workshops, Muay Thai, Yoga Classes, Music, Theater, Dance Classes and Rehearsals, Open Pole, Open Studio Rehearsals, Photoshoots, Private Space Rentals, Airbnb Experience, Fundamentals Training + Continuing Education Courses / Courses for Deepening your Practice, and More! Check out all of our current events coming up on our calender on feather.rsvp (or click here, and be sure to "Follow" us!).

👩🏻‍🏫 What if I want to teach?

You should email us at hello.theatrium@gmail.com! We are always looking for new instructors and workshop hosts :)

👩🏻‍🏫 Can I host My Own Workshop or Event?

Yes, please do!!! We offer a variety of ways to visualize what this could look like and break it down financially. Reach out to us via email at hello.theatrium@gmail.com with an idea of what you'd like to host and any dates you have in mind / prefer / would like, and we'll get back to you with what's available and what option feels like it would be the best fit for you! :)

👧🏻 Are you kid-friendly?

I think it depends on the event, but we can be! Official kids classes are coming soooooon •ᴗ• But in the meantime, feel free to email us at hello.theatrium@gmail.com to see if it would be appropriate to bring your kiddos with you to the class you're interested in ! 𑁤

🐕 Are you dog-friendly?

We actually are! Just email us if you'd like to bring your doggo, and we'll figure out what makes sense / if the event you're inquiring about feels like it would be pet-friendly and not too overstimulating for them, or distracting to the rest of our guests.

💸 Do you have donation classes on the schedule?

We do!!!! We have "Community" Classes on the schedule most mornings, as a way of ensuring that our offerings are as accessible as possible and that everyone can have movement in their lives! These classes are sliding scale starting at $10, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please book the night before for any of our morning classes, as we will have to cancel that class before the instructor goes to bed if there are still no sign-ups!

Reach out to us if cost is ever a barrier! We intentionally make sure that we have accessible classes and workshops regularly on our schedule, which you can see at feather.rsvp, or click here.

🟥 Are You guys on Instagram?

Yes! We are on Instagram at @theatrium.space !

👁️ So - What's This Whole Thing with "For the Love of Good."? I Keep Seeing This - How Do These Connect?

GREAT Question!!! "For the Love of Everything [GOOD]." is our parent company, the LLC under which The Atrium was founded and will always exist. "For the Love of Good" (or, "FLOE", for short) is an organization that sets out to do good in the world and bring all of the things we love to people who might not otherwise have access to them, or just create pop-up events that bring community together in new / cool ways. We like to introduce Artists, Makers, Movement Artists, Performance Artists, and Creatives to one another, and do that often in our Markets, which you'll see on the calendar (either as full day standalone events, or tied to pole / yoga classes, open pole, or a Full Moon Circle). We believe it takes a village to do any of this, and that villages should be made up of people from all walks of life, so.... happy to have you joining us on this journey. You can find For the Love of Good on Instagram at @for.theloveofgood, if you're interested in more.

🚪 When (Did) You Officially Open?

We officially opened our doors on January 3rd, 2026 and had our Opening Party on January 10th  ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ  Thank you to all who came out and danced, took photos, and popped open some champagne with us! Wildly (lol), we got our signed our lease on Halloween and got our keys when Mamdani was elected in NY!
